Americans are mostly descendants of immigrants, people who moved there against what what can be assumed, a considerable dislike of the natives. - It is maybe all right to mention that they massacred the natives and robbed them of their land. But now when poor people try to move to the United States to work for themselves, they are met with harsh treatment, even compared to rodents by some and sent out of the country, to countries that have lost in the competition and where poverty is great. It can be seen, that the immigration of poor people to the United States is no longer well seen by some of these descendants of immigrants, who were many poor.

In the old days, the Americans actually imported black people who were robbed from "underdeveloped" countries in Africa, made them work for them and kept them as slaves, but they stopped doing so when slavery began to conflict with what some call political correctness and general decency. Black people today are still looked down upon by some, who consider them lesser.
